EIP US announces growth with patent hires

EIP US has announced growth of its patent capability with two specialists joining its Denver office.

Peter Scull, a registered US patent attorney with 25 years’ experience joins EIP from HDC IP Law, LLP where he spent over nine years. Peter specializes in drafting and prosecuting patent applications with particular expertise in medical technologies, including work with medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical inventions. He also advises on technical areas including mechanical, chemical, computer, electronics technologies, energy, and green technologies.

In addition to his focus on patents Peter continues to be involved in providing services in the areas of trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights as well as in licensing, litigation support and due diligence. He provides client counselling and opinion preparation in all of these intellectual property regimes.

Jared Barnard also joins EIP as Of Counsel bringing with him over 12 years’ experience advising clients on IP matters. Jared and Peter have worked together for over 10 years.
