EIP hires patent litigator Christof Höhne from Taylor Wessing as Partner in Düsseldorf office

EIP today announces the appointment of Christof Höhne as IP litigation Partner, and head of its Düsseldorf office with effect from 4 October 2017.

Christof will join EIP from Taylor Wessing, his main responsibilities will include advising and representing national and international clients in patent infringement proceedings. He will work alongside Partner Michael Munsch, who joined EIP in 2015.

After becoming an Attorney-at-law in 2007, Christof was an associate at Bird & Bird and then at Taylor Wessing. Christof was appointed a partner at Taylor Wessing in 2015. Christof’s focus during his professional career has been on leading and managing major patent cases in the fields of electronics, pharmaceuticals and mechanical engineering.

Gary Moss, Head of EIP Legal, said: “We are delighted to welcome Christof to our team. His experience and expertise will help drive forward the development of our practice in Düsseldorf, strengthen our patent litigation offering, and allow us to continue to develop and sustain solid relationships with clients in Germany and internationally.”
