Simona Misakova

Simona joined EIP having completed a Master’s degree in Materials Science at Oxford University. Her studies covered a wide range of areas from Nanomaterials and Engineering Ceramics to Materials for Energy Production. Specifically, the focus of her final year research project was Sustainable High Entropy Alloys.

Before joining EIP, Simona interned at the Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, in Slovakia. She participated in projects and researched on increasing fatigue strength of Fe-based sintered components and evaluated the processing of tantalum sheets. Simona speaks Slovak, French, Czech, as well as English and is currently learning German.
