Rebecca Oliver

Rebecca enjoys taking clients through the patent life cycle, from invention harvesting and devising patent filing strategies, through to multi-jurisdictional prosecution and freedom-to-operate reviews. She has private practice experience advising on patent matters for clients from SMEs to multinationals.

Since entering the profession in 2014, Rebecca has drafted and prosecuted many mechanical patent applications in fields such as aerospace, consumer devices, sports equipment and medical devices. She has liaised directly with inventors, foreign attorneys and in-house IP practitioners.

Rebecca enjoys mentoring trainee attorneys and paralegals as they prepare for qualification examinations.

Rebecca holds a first class masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath and a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Bournemouth University.
