Alex is an associate Patent Scientist with a background in electronic engineering. Prior to joining EIP Alex completed a law degree at Santa Clara University in California where he won awards for academic achievement. February 2022, Alex qualified and was sworn in as a member of the California bar, and as of October 2022 he has been added to the roll of Solicitors for England and Wales.
Alex has a degree in engineering (electrical and electronic) from the University of Aberdeen and a degree in electronic engineering from the University of Huddersfield where his thesis focused on IP law issues in creating and implementing wearable electronic healthcare technology.
