James joined EIP from a UK IP firm where he worked within the technology and engineering group. He has experience in drafting patent applications, preparing responses to office actions, attending hearings at the UKIPO and EPO and providing infringement opinions.
James holds a first class master’s degree in Physics with Nanotechnology from the University of Leicester. During his degree, James specialised in condensed matter physics and his final year project involved designing, building and testing a device to measure deposition rates during molecular beam epitaxy.
