Two new associates join EIP

EIP has appointed two associates to further strengthen its team.

Trainee patent attorneys Gemma Wooden and Paul Beynon joined the firm at the beginning of September and are based at EIP’s London office.

Prior to joining EIP Gemma worked as a research fellow at the University of Michigan, based at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, the world’s highest energy particle accelerator. She worked towards the discovery of the Higgs boson, the last remaining undiscovered particle in the Standard Model of particle physics, which was found in July 2012.

Paul has a range of experience across multiple engineering disciplines including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electronics, structures, mechanics and biomedical engineering. He spent four years working for a structural engineering consultancy, and also worked as a research assistant for Oxford University developing understanding of the fluid dynamics within aircraft engines.
