Naomi joined EIP as a patent scientist after attaining a first-class BSc in Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. Her studies covered different areas in mathematics and mathematical physics, including differential geometry, number theory, geometry of general relativity and black holes. During her penultimate year of university, Naomi also worked part-time alongside her studies as a software engineer at JJCFinTech. In her final year, she completed a project on the topic of magnetic skyrmions; she explored a model for magnetic skyrmions which can be solved analytically and how to visualise the solutions.
