Sam Apsey

Sam earned a First-Class MEng degree from the University of Bath, initially studying Integrated Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, before specialising in integrated Design Engineering. His modules covered a range of electrical and mechanical disciplines, such as Fluid Mechanics, Robotics Design, Digital Electronics and Integrated Control Systems Design. Sam's interest has always centred on mechatronic systems, with his Major Individual Design Project focussing on the development of an Assistive Wearable Navigational Device for visually impaired individuals.

During his studies, he also completed a year in industry at Vectura Delivery Devices Ltd in Cambridge, working as a Device Development Engineer. Sam's role involved the design and development of inhalers and nebulisers from concept to manufacture.
