Partners Andrew Sharples and Darren Smyth will hold a pre-conference workshop at the C5 11th International Forum of Pharma Patent Lifecycles on 19 June.

The two-day event will focus on recent cases across Europe and the US and their impact on the latest regulatory developments and strategies for patent lifecycle extensions, and features a panel of expert speakers.

The afternoon workshop will equip attendees with the tools and practical insights to design an effective and up-to-date SPC strategy. The conference itself takes place on 20-21 June at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in St James, London.

EIP has again been named one of Europe's leading patent law firms by the Financial Times. In its 2026 ranking, EIP earned gold in five of the six technology sectors, and silver in the sixth, Materials and Nanotechnology. It is the eighth year running the firm has featured, every year since the ranking began in 2019.
