EIP has announced two hires for its litigation group, EIP Legal, in its UK and German offices, reflecting strong growth for the new year.

Tristan Sherliker joins the London office as an associate, where he will specialise in IP litigation. He joins the firm from the IP practice at Silverman Sherliker LLP, where he spent five years advising on IP exploitation, licensing and international protection as well as taking the lead in disputes in the High Court and specialist IP.

Michael Munsch joins the Düsseldorf office where he will focus on contentious patents as well as trademarks and designs. An experienced IP practitioner, Michael has worked in teams both in private practice and in-house, including three years in the legal department of a globally-operating food manufacturer, specialising in trademarks and patents.

Gary Moss, partner and head of EIP Legal, said: “I am delighted to see such a strong start for the firm moving into a new year. We are committed to growing all practice areas across both our UK and international offices. Both Tristan and Michael bring considerable experience and will further strengthen our capabilities across the board.”
