Patent and trademark attorneys EIP have appointed a new partner, who brings more than 20 years’ experience in digital electronics to the firm.

Adam Flint joined EIP’s London headquarters and will specialise in advising clients on patents for telecommunications, computer technology, signal processing and software. He becomes the second attorney specialising in electronics to join EIP in 2011 and the firm’s ninth partner.

With over two decades spent in private practice, including two large London-based firms of patent and trademark attorneys, Adam has dealt with a wide range of subject matter for clients ranging from start-ups through SMEs to multinationals.

He has been a contributor to the Guide to the Patents Acts, the leading guide to UK patent law produced by the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, since the early 1990s.

EIP partner Jerome Spaargaren said: “Adam Flint is an electronics specialist with a great deal of experience, and we are very fortunate to have him joining EIP. His expertise will complement our existing attorneys and allow us to build on the success of our core electronics practice group, EIP Digital.”
