For the first time EIP has been given a Tier 2 ranking as a recommended firm by the Legal 500.

EIP is the youngest of eight UK Tier 2 firms in the 2012 guide to leading legal service providers. Four individuals were also cited as recommended lawyers: partners Gary Moss, Darren Smyth, Neil Condon, and Adam Flint.

Researchers highlighted the major developments at EIP during 2011, which included the hire of four high profile partners, the creation of the EIP Legal and EIP Elements practice groups, and the opening of EIP’s fourth office, in Leeds.

Partner Jerome Spaargaren said: “For a firm which began as a single practitioner in 2000, this acknowledgement represents an outstanding achievement for the firm as a whole, and for those individuals singled out for their contribution to EIP’s continued growth and success.”
