EIP to hold an ‘Ask the Experts’ IP clinic at the launch of Cardiff Start network

EIP are sponsoring the launch event of Cardiff Start and will be hosting an IP clinic for start-ups.

Cardiff Start is a group for entrepreneurs running creative, digital and technology start-ups in the Cardiff and South Wales area.

The group is hosting a day of free workshops and master classes specifically designed for tech and digital start-ups at Cardiff City Hall on 11 April. The event is followed by an official launch party.

Partner Chris Price will hold an ‘Ask the Experts’ IP clinic, allowing start-ups to learn more about the importance of protecting their intellectual property rights. For further details of the event, search for the Cardiff Start group on Facebook.

EIP named one of Europe's leading patent firms for the eighth year running, with gold in five sectors

EIP has again been named one of Europe's leading patent law firms by the Financial Times. In its 2026 ranking, EIP earned gold in five of the six technology sectors, and silver in the sixth, Materials and Nanotechnology. It is the eighth year running the firm has featured, every year since the ranking began in 2019.
