Five EIP patent attorneys have been named in the 2026 edition of the IAM Strategy 300, the annual ranking from IAM that identifies the world's leading IP strategists. They were recognised for the way they help clients get more value from their patent portfolios.

Christof Höhne, Darren Smyth, Heather McCann, James Seymour, and Sebastian Fuchs have all been named in this year's list, each recognised for their own approach to building patent value for clients.

The IAM Strategy 300 is built on research. IAM gathers nominations from its readers and the wider patent community, then follows up with interviews across the industry, hearing directly from law firms, corporations, research institutions and universities. Individuals are chosen for the skill and insight they bring to portfolio management, monetisation and licensing strategy.

Christof, Darren, Heather, James, and Sebastian have earned this recognition through the strategic thinking they bring to their work every day, backed by colleagues across the firm who help turn that thinking into real results for clients. We are proud to see their work recognised in this way.

Magnus Hallin, Chief Executive Officer, EIP
