EIP has bolstered its electronics practice with the appointment of James Seymour as partner. He joins the firm’s London office to become EIP’s fifteenth partner.

James specialises in the field of mobile telecommunications and electronics, having spent 18 years working as in-house IP counsel for Nokia and Hewlett-Packard in the UK, USA and Singapore.

James has considerable experience in patent litigation, having been involved in high profile litigation cases in the UK, US, and Germany; and in patent pool, licensing, and divestment transactions. He has practiced before the US Patent and Trademark Office, and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore.
