EIP will be taking part in a series of events which provide support for start-up businesses in Yorkshire.

The Investment Readiness Programme is run by Connect Yorkshire, a non-profit organisation that provides support for growth businesses in Yorkshire and the Humber region. The programme offers a number of workshops and activities designed to assist companies who are looking to raise funding.

EIP will be hosting a workshop on intellectual property for start-up businesses. Matt Lawman, head of EIP Strategy, will advise on the range of intellectual property rights available to protect ideas, and how start-ups should develop and enforce an IP strategy.

The workshop is free to attend and takes place from 5pm-8pm on 28 March at the Round Foundry Media Centre in Leeds. Register here.

In addition, EIP’s business advisor John Williams will be mentoring companies who have applied to present their business plans to investors at the Connect Yorkshire Investment Forum on 23 May in Leeds.
