Biography

Alona Andrieieva is a Research Executive at EIP, where she monitors cases filed with the Unified Patent Court and analyses related court decisions and litigation trends. Her work focuses on patent infringement and revocation actions, provisional measures, and procedural developments. Alona builds and maintains internal structured UPC databases that support strategic legal research and ongoing case tracking.

With over 20 years of practical experience in Intellectual Property law as a Ukrainian Patent and Trademark Attorney and Certified IP Court Expert, Alona brings a deep understanding of IP litigation, prosecution, and enforcement. Her background enables her to interpret complex legal materials quickly and deliver clear, data-driven insights that support the EIP's litigation team.She has a particular interest in the intersection of AI and patent practice, exploring how emerging technologies are reshaping legal research, analysis, and innovation management within the field of intellectual property.
