Polina Oliinyk

Polina is a Patent Scientist with a background in Computer Science and computational robotics. She earned a First-Class BSc in Computer Science from Cardiff University. Throughout her degree, she was part of Cardiff University’s Computational Robotics research team, where she worked alongside PhD students on projects involving social robot navigation and robot telepresence. Her final-year project focused on developing a social robot navigation system for guiding people in crowded indoor environments. Polina also gained industry experience as a Robotics & Automation Project Engineer in the food manufacturing industry, where she managed automation projects from concept through to technology trials and implementation.
