Vince Price

Vince holds a key role in the EIP Life practice group. Vince is of Counsel, with many years of experience in patent drafting, prosecution, opposition and appeal proceedings, having previously built a practice as a partner in a major UK firm and more recently as proprietor of Price & Co, a boutique practice specialising in biotechnology.

Vince joined EIP in 2011, wishing to complement his specialised expertise with the technical and professional resources of a leading IP practice. A large part of his practice is working with colleagues abroad to represent clients in the life sciences sector at the European Patent Office.

Vince completed a PhD in molecular genetics at the University of Sheffield, followed by postdoctoral research at Oxford. He brings a keen interest in scientific issues to bear on each case, and seeks to draw inventors, attorneys and patent examiners together in a friendly and constructive atmosphere to secure the best possible outcome for the client.
