EIP moves to new city location in Leeds

EIP, the patent law firm which specialises in advising on high-value and complex patent matters, has announced a move to new office space in Leeds city centre. EIP has had an office in Leeds since 2011 and the move to Wellington Street continues the firm's commitment to the region.

Over the past 12 years EIP's Leeds office has grown to 12 people – two partners, six fee-earners/attorneys, and four support staff, with more set to join in 2024. The team provide patent advice for a range of clients based in the region, across the UK and internationally. Leeds is one of EIP's four UK locations – the others being London, Cardiff, and Bath. Outside the UK, EIP has offices in Düsseldorf, Germany, Denver, Colorado, and Stockholm, Sweden.

EIP Partner and Head of the Leeds Office, Laurence Brown comments: "After 12 years in Leeds I'm excited with our move to a new modern, central city location. The team look forward to welcoming our colleagues and clients to our office!"

EIP CEO Magnus Hallin says: "The move to a larger office and even more modern office supporting collaboration in Leeds, shows our commitment to the area and provides an excellent base for attracting talent and clients in the region."
