EIP has been highly rated in the 2020 edition of Chambers & Partners UK.

Researchers highlighted EIP for its “excellent patent prosecution and oppositions practice” and its “highly capable trademark and designs offering”. The “much-admired patent litigation team” was “particularly noted for disputes concerned with FRAND licensing and SEP patents”.

A client quoted said: “Their performance has been excellent and they have shown an extremely high level of understanding.”

Partners Jerome Spaargaren and Gary Moss received recommendations as notable practitioners.

Gary “is a great name in patent licensing for telecoms. Highly experienced, there's nothing he hasn't seen, and therefore has a sensible appreciation for risk and makes the right calls”.

Jerome “is feted for his expertise in semiconductor science, optics and medical devices”.
