EIP has strengthened its electronics practice group EIP Digital with the appointment of associate Emma Wilkins.

Emma has a range of experience in electronics, optics, statistical mechanics and thermodynamics. She has a particular interest in electromagnetism, quantum physics and special relativity.

She has contributed to research into green technologies at the University of Oxford and has investigated the viability of using stratospheric aerosols as a method to counteract global warming. Emma has a clear understanding of many of the difficulties surrounding the clear communication of scientific concepts – having been involved with several science communication projects and having led tutorials for undergraduates in physics and mathematics.

EIP Partner Jerome Spaargaren said: “Emma has a fanstastic academic record, and great communication skills, which means she will be an invaluable member of the team.”
