EIP are holding a seminar on how business can benefit from Registered Design protection.

Two attorneys from EIP will be joined by high-profile industry speakers for the event, which takes place on 20 October 2011 from 5.30pm-7.30pm at the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, Chancery Lane, London.

Iain Russell, head of EIP Designs, will speak about the interplay between Registered Designs and patents. Alice Mastrovito, head of EIP Brands, will discuss how Registered Designs can be used as part of a brand protection strategy.

Richard Goddard, responsible for Registered Designs at BP plc, will give an industry perspective on Registered Design, and Jim Dawton, a partner at Designit, will promote the importance of design.

Practical case studies will illustrate how widely business is now taking advantage of the protection it provides by means of ‘traditional’ and ‘non-traditional’ design registrations.

Registration is free and places are limited. If you would like to attend, email events@eip.com or your usual contact at EIP.
