Building a Resilient Quantum Patent Portfolio: Winning the Race to File First

Patent and trademark attorneys EIP have formed two new practice groups to reflect the firm’s growing range of expertise and services offered: EIP Designs and EIP Dynamics.

EIP Designs is the practice group which assists in a range of IP rights to protect clients’ intellectual property. With a focus on registered designs, EIP’s European Design Attorneys can also advise on the use of copyright and unregistered design right to protect designs. The EIP Designs practice group is led by Iain Russell.

Paula Flutter is head of the mechanical and heavy engineering practice group EIP Dynamics, which advises companies that are active in a wide range of fields including aeronautic, automotive, construction engineering, marine, medical, and power generation.

Partner Jerome Spaargaren said: “The introduction of our two new practice groups highlights our practice growing in these areas of technology and intellectual property services. New appointments in 2011 combined with an alignment of our existing expertise in computing, telecoms, electronics, life sciences, cleantech and trademarks, has enabled the firm to offer an even broader scope of services.”
