EIP was formally presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2013 on 21 May.

EIP won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2013, in the category of Outstanding Achievement in recognition of having increased its overseas sales by 136% over the last three years.

Partner Jerome Spaargaren accepted an engraved crystal bowl and scroll on behalf of all the staff, from the Deputy Lieutenant for the London Borough of Camden, Sir Ian Johnston CBE QPM DL.

The Queen’s Awards are made annually by HM The Queen, and are only given for the highest levels of excellence demonstrated in each category.

EIP named one of Europe's leading patent firms for the eighth year running, with gold in five sectors

EIP has again been named one of Europe's leading patent law firms by the Financial Times. In its 2026 ranking, EIP earned gold in five of the six technology sectors, and silver in the sixth, Materials and Nanotechnology. It is the eighth year running the firm has featured, every year since the ranking began in 2019.
