EIP has been ranked as one of the leading intellectual property firms in the UK by the Chambers & Partners 2014 guide.

Chambers said EIP was “A fast-growing firm in both size and reputation that has made great strides since its establishment”.

Partners Jerome Spaargaren and Heather McCann received individual recommendations for the third and fourth years running, respectively. Gary Moss, head of EIP Legal, was mentioned as a notable practitioner for the second year in a row.

EIP named one of Europe's leading patent firms for the eighth year running, with gold in five sectors

EIP has again been named one of Europe's leading patent law firms by the Financial Times. In its 2026 ranking, EIP earned gold in five of the six technology sectors, and silver in the sixth, Materials and Nanotechnology. It is the eighth year running the firm has featured, every year since the ranking began in 2019.
