Partner Matt Lawman and Associate Ben Hoyle presented “Intellectual Property Rights and Wrongs” to an audience at the Low Carbon South West monthly meeting at the Bath Innovation Centre on 17 May.

Matt and Ben discussed basic principles of IP protection, options for expedited ‘Green Channel’ patenting and some IP strategy considerations for companies operating in the Green sector in the South West.

Matt Lawman said: “EIP has forged some constructive links with the green technology industry in the South West so we were delighted to be asked to provide this overview to the Low Carbon South West trade association. The session produced some thought-provoking discussion between audience members.”
