Nine EIP individuals have been highly ranked in IP Stars 2018, a guide to the world’s leading IP firms and practitioners.

Partners, Paula Flutter, Heather McCann, Gary Moss, Andrew Sharples, Darren Smyth and Jerome Spaargaren were highlighted as Patent Stars. Senior associates Tim Belcher, Felix Hall and Gemma Wooden were listed as Rising Stars to watch.

As a firm, EIP is noted as “highly regarded in the market for patent protection expertise in the fields of electronics and telecoms”, with the patent litigation team described as “active and getting decent results for their clients”.

The rankings are based on research carried out over a six-month period by an experienced team of research analysts and journalists and take into consideration expertise, outcomes achieved for clients and unique strengths in a given practice area.
