Biography

Inga-Lill is the head of the Stockholm office and EIP’s practice in Sweden. She is a highly experienced European and Swedish patent attorney, having her expertise within chemistry and life sciences.

Before joining EIP in 2022, Inga-Lill worked at AWA for more than two decades. Inga-Lill has handled all types of patent-related issues, including drafting and prosecution of patent applications, freedom-to-operate analyses, and due diligence investigations. She has also been deeply involved in patent litigation cases before Swedish courts. Inga-Lill is well placed to advise clients on the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Her excellent work has been recognised and she has been listed as a Patent Star by Managing Intellectual Property, as a recommended individual for prosecution in the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals, and as a WIPR Leader. She has also been listed as one of the ‘Top 250 Women in IP’ and has been recognised in "WIPR Influential women in IP".

Inga-Lill also has extensive leadership and management experience. For six years, she held the role as a Business Area Manager, AWA North Sweden, and was also a member of the Swedish management team. She has experience of expansion into new markets and has been heavily engaged in the establishment of a new office.

Inga-Lill holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering specializing in Biotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. She also received CEIPI Diploma in European Patent Litigation from Strasbourg University in 2015.
